"BACK to the GARDEN: The Story of Woodstock" separates myth from reality and fiction from fact. The book brings the iconic rock concert to vivid life through original interviews (recorded throughout Pete's 40+ year career!) with Roger Daltrey, Joan Baez, David Crosby, Richie Havens, Joe Cocker, and dozens of headliners, organizers, and fans. The goal is to celebrate the music and spirit of Woodstock through the words of some of the biggest musical stars of the period, as well as through a diverse collection of black-and-white photos.

The multi-media program that was co-designed, edited and 'realized' by Tony Traguardo, features archival audio and video clips that revive the entire era surrounding Woodstock for audiences of all ages. The stories of Pete's journey toward becoming a DJ at the top progressive radio station of the time (his on-air debut occurred shortly before Woodstock), of his experiences at the station, and of how he came to write "Back to the Garden", bring a personal element to the show. The Q&A portion of the program, and the post-event "meet and greet", where copies of Pete's book are made available, offer a great opportunity to talk with the author.
