Tony Traguardo, member of the founding Board of Directors of the Long Island Music Hall of
Fame, presents an exciting course that chronicles the rich musical legacy that has developed over
the past one hundred (plus) years in our home area, Long Island. The two sessions will offer a
glimpse into the entire span of music from many genres that has been made here since the turn of
the last century. Material will be presented chronologically. Mr. Traguardo is a pop and rock
music historian and archivist, and has co-written and directed the Long Island Music Hall of
Fame’s first two Induction Galas (2006/2008).
