Port Washington native Barry Waller is an introspective singer-songwriter with 43 years of international experience on large and small stages. His professional beginnings were as the bassist for the legendary Long Island band Mazarin. Barry returned to acoustic guitar to extensively tour Nordic Europe as a solo entertainer. He then played both instruments with Deep Purple's founding father Ritchie Blackmore. Most recently, Mr. Waller has performed in over 60 U.S. cities in the multi-act 'Happy Together' tour, where he has backed artists such as The Turtles, The Archies, Mark Lindsay, and The Cowsills.

Shindig! performs songs from each musical phase of the tumultuous '60s, and the tunes that topped the charts in the 70s.
On request, the musicians offer historical background, anecdotes, and information about the significance of the music and the performers who made it. They can also venture into the 80s!

- "Back to the Garden": Shindig! focuses on some of the incredible music of the group's that performed at the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival as the world celebrated the 50th anniversary of a weekend of peace, love and music shared by half-a-million people on a farm in upstate New York.
-“Life Is a Rock, But the Radio Rolled Me”: Top 40 Radio and FM Radio made its mark on many youngsters who grew up during the '60s and '70s. The DJs were our friends, and the music was as diverse and exciting as the times. This entertaining multimedia show offers a simulated trip through the radio stations of yesterday as the group performs with the ‘help’ of a local DJ who talks up the tunes.
- "Peace, Love and Music": This set is comprised of music from the late 1960s, with a focus on songs that delivered the message of peace and love, including a few of the eras most important protest songs. The harmony driven sound of the Byrds and The Mamas and Papas mixes in with the edgier sounds of Cream, The Animals and Jefferson Airplane in this dynamic set.
