We are living in an era where we are constantly being bombarded with advertisements and solicitations for pills, ointments, tests and procedures that are often accompanied by a list of side effects. The question raised by Ms. Boyd in her lecture is: 'How may we become more aware of what our bodies need, and learn to help ourselves relieve our own aches, pains and anxieties without the aid of these wonder drugs?'.
Audiences leave Winifred's programs with a basic understanding of the principles behind some of the world's oldest healing arts. Demonstrations of the most common and effective self-help methods for relieving pain and stress make Ms. Boyd's lectures a unique experience, and the presentation will help your audience members to correctly interpret the signals that they get from their own bodies. She is an engaging speaker, who manages to entertain while educating, and leaves her audience with something practical that can have a profound impact on their everyday lives.

A PHOTOGRAPHIC 'BIOGRAPHY' OF WINFIRED BOYD
Winifred Boyd is a mixed photographer with a large concentration of pieces that ‘focus’ on nature. Her work has been featured alongside internationally acclaimed photographers in books and periodicals compiled by prestigious photography clubs and organizations.
Winifred’s venture into the world of entertainment photography has led to her work being featured in The Monkees’ 2013 tour program, as well as on album, cd, and book covers, on performers’ websites, and in music biographies. She exhibits extensively on Long Island, and in outlying areas of New York. Ms. Boyd has been chosen to participate in numerous juried L.I. and Connecticut art shows, and she was also commissioned for a (now completed) long term photojournalism project for the Sierra Club.
Winifred's photography talks are not filled with tech jargon. The focus is on the stories behind the shots!
Some of Winifred's work can be seen on her website, WinifredBoydPhotography.com.
