Tony Traguardo
Tony Traguardo has been a New York radio personality and voice-over artist for over 36 years. He has created and hosted numerous shows on WCWP 88.1 FM, including 'BeatleTrax', 'One More Saturday Night', and the currently running '4F' program..
Tony's lengthy career in audio and production work has been quite diverse. His production work can be heard and/or seen in: 200+ episodes of the 'Fab 4 Free 4 All' podcast (available on Spotify, iTunes, etc.), on the '4F' podcast on Podarama.com, on Frank Bell Productions' 'Twilight Zone' remakes, on promotional videos for the Port Washington Public Library, on many CD reissues on the Midnight Beat label (1990s), on violist Karen Olson's debut album 'Timeless Being, and on author Pete Fornatale's audiobook edition of 'Bookends'. As a voiceover artist, Tony helped introduce Tivoli Radio to the world as one of the company's EDG station guides. In the early days of home video gaming, Tony's voice was heard on a number of the 'Applause' company's telephone 'help lines' . He was also an early contributor/reader for the Stephanie Joyce Kahn Mobile Audio Library for the Blind. His promos can be heard daily on WCWP Radio. Tony serves as the host of the Port Washington Public Library's 'Inside The Musician's Mind Series'. His shows appear, or have appeared, on TYME Radio 109, on The Voice of Peace, and WQEE 99.1 FM ('The Key'). His current shows include WCWP's '4F' and the aforementioned Beatles-related podcast 'Fab 4 Free 4 All'. His voice has also been featured in corporate films for Saucony. Tony also continues to actively lecture throughout the tri-state area, and to serve as the on-stage Narrator for Aztec Two-Step's 'Simon and Garfunkel Songbook' touring show. |
Winifred Boyd
As a voiceover artist and producer, Winifred 'Winnie' Boyd served as an original member of the EDG Internet Radio Guide production team, leading listeners to the best in New Age radio from all over the world, on spots heard both online, and on Tivolis' NetWork Radio system. She can sometimes be heard co-hosting Tony Traguardo's '4F' radio show on WCWP 88.1 FM, and her self-produced, popular feature spot 'Winifred Boyd's Fun Factoids' can be heard on many episodes. Winnie served (with Rev. Mark Lyons) as co-creator, co-host, interviewer and producer of the (original) long-running, educational 'Ask A Witch' Internet video program. She worked as a videographer and editor for Frank Bell Productions' 'Twilight Zone' episode remakes. Winnie's production of a dramatic reading of 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' airs each year on Halloween on WCWP. And her 'Voice of Peace': Universal Brotherhood Through Music' segments helped to relaunch the international network in 2010. She recently directed of a staged reading of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' at Long Island University.
Winifred was a fixture of Long Island's East End community theater scene throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s; a run which included a turn in the role of Tatania in 'Midsummer Night;'s Dream'. In the mid-1990s, Winifred performed as an improvisational actor in the ensemble cast of the New York Renaissance Faire, and as a cast member of 'Madison Scare Garden' in New York City. Winnie has worked off-Broadway ('The Enchanted Spring') and on Long-Island, 'woodshedding' original works with local Long Island playwrights. Her extra work includes appearances in 'Entourage', in the film 'Oxygen' and in multiple episodes of Comedy Central's 'Upright Citizens Brigade'. Winifred's musically diverse FM and Internet radio shows have aired on Radio 365 and TYME Radio 109. And, from 2006 through 2009, her podcast of guided meditations was a featured program on Podarama, one of the earliest podcast consolidators. Winnie has also directed and edited videos of stage productions, and created complete DVD packages, for The Port Washington Play Troupe and The Red Stocking Revue (non-profit organizations). |
