USING OPENOFFICE TO 'IMPRESS' (A WORKSHOP PROGRAM)
OpenOffice is an incredible open source suite of programs that can be downloaded and used by anyone with basic computer knowledge. The modules in the suite allow users to perform many of the same tasks that have always been associated with Microsoft Office. In this 'hands-on' program Tony Traguardo reviews the basic functions of the 'Impress' program that is included in the suite. Like its Office counterpart, 'Impress' can help users to create exciting and entertaining presentations.
NOTE: Pre-registration is required for this program. Either the library IT department or the attending patrons must provide their own laptops with the suite pre-loaded for this workshop (a link will be provided by the presenter which can be offered on the library website).
SINGLE SESSION: Ninety minute or two hour versions available
